Captain's Log!

Stardate: December 25, 1996

Do you hear what I hear? Yeah, I think Ricky cut one!!

This time of the year I try to use to get in touch with all of my friends and family. Throughout the year I really do try to keep in touch, but with life's little hiccups that's not always possible. What does this mean, shopping, shopping, shopping!! This year we (Wendi and I) decided to do the usually thing.

Being Jewish, Wendi celebrates Chanukah and I have celebrated with her and her family, for the past four years. Being Christian, I try to celebrate Christmas and all the fanfare around the Season. As part of Chanukah we exchange gifts for eight crazy nights and with Christmas we're usually completely exhausted so we only exchange stocking for Christmas. You know having both holidays is pretty fun, especially when you get so many gifts!!

Most of my family is spread throughout so I try to make an effort to get down to my good friend's (Trish) house in New Jersey. I've known Trish since my first day at Pace University and we have kept in touch and I have celebrated Christmas with her family a few times now. Her parents have to be the sweetest people I know, from day one they made me feel right at home and opened their doors to me with such caring, that eventually I felt like part of the family. Between them, the Belloffs and Trish's Aunt across the street, I feel like I have made a very nice family in just knowing Trish and the Winters (Trish's Family).

Trish's parents (Liz and Rick) affectionately know as Ma and Pa have always been the best hosts and very fun to be around. Kathy and Bob, is Trish's older sister and her computer geek husband, have two of the cutest kids around, Bobby and Katie. Ricky, her younger brother, is currently going to Marist and is a pretty loose cannon. But seriously, they are a great crew.

Trish's house is also the best example of the spirit of Christmas. Their house, tree, food and attitudes are the best I've ever seen. We'll with all that said and done I guess you need to see some pictures as examples, here goes.

Pictures are Here!!

Now that I've shown you what I mean, I'm almost sure that you agree. Have a great holiday season and try to stay cheerful.

Captain Out!
