Coffee, the substance that keeps generation moving and the core of my existence. After too many
years of drinking Bustelo Expresso coffee @ home with my 4' 8" tall Puerto Rican mother, I have
developed an acute tolerance to caffeine and it's affects. I have completely confirmed that I am
addicted to coffee and caffeine, most just the warm light and sweet taste of well-brewed coffee.
My favorite flavors are Chocolate Mocha, Vanilla, and Hazelnut.
I have made it a pre-requisite to all shopping activities that my girlfriend and I go on to get a cup of coffee to give
me the boost I need to survive her marathon shopping spree's. I have made sure that I have my large blue "Word
Perfect" mug with my in every job. I got the mug from my old boss at Kraft, Mary Ellen Molloy, she was the
coolest. I don't particularly like "Word Perfect", but those of you whom have seen the mug have envied me.

I was very fond of the STNG series and was extremely disappointed to find it over, just when the shows where
getting deeper and better. My favorite character is, Picard. One of many favorite shows was when Picard was
assimilated as Loqutis of Borg. But my ultimate favorite was the unfortunately "the" seventh season final
episode, the concept was the best, "All Good Things". I sat @ the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was
going on. Almost had the whole plot figured out too. My friends (fellow STNG fans) thought I was crazy, but I was
just about right.
I wish Generations, the movie, was a little better, I left the theater a little disappointed. I thought the final episode
was better than the movie, but that's just my opinion. I'm still trying to catch up with a couple of missed episodes,
god knows when I'll every see them again. But, I guess I'll never understand why they canceled such an awesome
show. Jean-Luc Picard, cool name, cool caption. I never did get around to like his Number 1, Troi is a babe,
Crusher would be second on my list. Next to Picard, my next favorite or equal is Data. I think it stems from the
jealously of having that infinite knowledge, multitasking mind, strength, speed, and being able to perform with
Security Chief Tasha Yar. Who knows maybe some day.....

Musical Likes include: Zep, Beatles, The Who, Thorougood, STYX, Journey, Foreigner and Most Classic Rock.
Musical Dislikes: Sappy Country Love Songs and Rap Music without a message.
We can say the music can and has affected everything we do and everything we will do. We are driven by songs,
lyrics, jingles, slogans and anything that is pleasing or memorable to use. I began my true musical exploration
while still in college, Pace University. I had a two hour radio show for a couple of years. I began to experiment with
different radio formats, multitrack advertisements, and not following the rules. I had a few people help me out
along the way.
The assistant or co- DJ's included two of my fraternity brothers: John Talavera and John Doherty. Both two very
different people with two very different tastes of music. John Talavera, affectionately known as JT, TALLY,
Guido, or Sarduchi (Father Sarduchi) to his friends loved to play hip-hop club rap music AS LOUD AS HE
COULD. He was the guy who drove a supped up IROC with 800 watts of power backing him up anywhere he went
(until it was stolen). John Doherty, affectionately known as Dog, Dogerty, or Joe, was a little more serene. He
liked New Wave and Old New Wave. I have always envied Dog's memory and till this day don't know how he
remembers sooooo much. That's why his my accountant now, with out him I'd probably be lost when it comes to a
lot of things.
My fondest memory was a sink little show that Dog and I did which was entitled "Beatles, Nothing but Beatles!".
That and getting caught on the air cursing up a storm when I thought I was off the air.
Some other highlights were the visits from my fraternity brothers, Alpha Phi Delta, the few hours of rap and
hip-hop and never reading the news, weather or ad's. These little things made me feel good and I felt like I was
giving the 4 or 5 people listening in the campus center a decent two hours of little pleasure.
I only made one commercial, it was for a local dance bar. We based the commercial on the "Animal House" theme
and album. We intro'ed with the Faber College theme song, then transitioned into my voice explaining the club with
comments like "You'll meet people just like you" in a low baritone voice and then switching over to "Don't know
much about History, don't much of biology" from the album. We did a parody of sorts but they loved it so we ran it.
I thought it was pretty cool working with the multi-track recording equipment, nothing fancy but it worked. But
anyway, maybe I'll get back to doing radio again. As it stands I may be working at ABC Radio Networks next
week (February 5th, 1996), wish me luck.
