Captain's Log! - Cars, who really needs them!

Stardate: February 4, 1996

Well, after a many "trials" and tribulations, I have finally gotten what I believe to be a "good" car. If you ask any of my friends, they will testify to the fact that I have a slight problem with keeping cars, as well as keeping them on the road. I broke down and spent every little penny I could for a 1990 Nissan Maxima SE. Much credit is due to my girlfriend, Wendi, without her suggestions and help I probably would have picked out another cheesy car. This car is very well suited for my needs considering the history of cars I have had in the past....

1989 Isuzu Impulse: decent looking until I got my hands on it, red sporty turbo charged, but horrible handling. Had a couple of incidents with this car leaving it with some bumps and bruises. I traded this one in for the beautiful burgundy Maxima I have now.
1982 Toyota Corrolla/Tercel: This was a cry for help if you ever heard one. It was an ORANGE(actually it was RUST), two door, 4 speed, no A/C, puttin' around thing. I had gotten this car after having a "totalling" experience with it's predessor. I needed a car very urgently and found this $600 beauty. I also left this car with some bumps and bruises. I traded this one in for the Red Off-Roading Impluse.
1984 Nissan Sentra: This car was my first and it was given to me. My bestfriend, Trish Winters had graduated college and was getting another car and she knew the situation I was in and gave me her car. I wish I hadn't gotten into that horrible accident totally it, I think I could have had that car for a long time, but that wasn't to be. After totalling it I sought something cheaper and slower, but that didn't stop me.

You may be wondering what's so special about owning these cars, the thing is I've only had my license for a little over two years and have been driving around for just under three. Three years, four cars not bad! I hate my insurance rates, but if I want to drive like an ass, I'll pay through the ass. I've come to realize what many people have already know, but I still LOVE to speed, so watch out.....
