Stardate: February 13, 1996

In life's beauty and splendor, it has given us a delicate package of warmth and love. My good friend, Maria, has delivered a 7 lb. 13 oz. lovely GIRL. She measured 21 inches and has a healthy head of hair, as well as all other parts. What makes this so special (you may be asking)? Well, I'm the godfather!! I'll be the godfather of Antonia Maria Mercedes Hernandez-Ortiz (I warned her about the name but she wouldn't listen).

Wendi and I visited on Sunday the 11th and were welcomed by a spunky and well-behaved little bundle. This is the first time I have been honored with the right to be someone's godfather and I'll cherish these moments for a long time. My godparents mean a lot to me and I will definitely make sure that I am a positive influence. Who knows maybe the child will grow up to be like me (actually I wouldn't wish that on my enemies, *giggle*).
